Shelby Park Condominiums

Our condominiums were in need of siding repair and a change of exterior paint. After carefully reviewing three detailed bids, our board of directors chose G Tech Construction. Before any work was done, we were sure we’d made the right choice. That’s because both Gene Tomasco, the owner, and Julius Jones, the project manager, made themselves available to answer any questions the board or the community had.

The crew they brought in was first rate. The guys did careful, meticulous work in doing the repairs. Our buildings had a lot of underlayment issues due to the age of the buildings. They found a lot of belly band, trim, roofline, and chimney box rot, as well as woodpecker damage.

I won’t go into all the detail but we had a great deal ground-to-soffit issues. Often when unexpected underlayment damage was found, Julius took the time to point it out. That made understanding any change orders much easier.

I also want to say the crew worked through a very hot summer never once complaining. They were focused on getting the job done. And it was nice, you could joke with them despite the heat.

When the siding repairs on all our buildings were complete, Julius again took the time to advise on paint selection, offering the best choices for the board to choose from.

And the verdict on GTech from the community? Thumbs up! Our owners were very happy with the work. When we’re ready to move on to some pending upgrades, our choice for help is G Tech. These guys know their stuff. In addition to their professionalism, they’re genuinely nice guys.
